Amritpal Singh, a former Indian Army soldier, has been arrested for allegedly trying to form a terror outfit with other ex-Armymen and ‘blackmailing’ women.
The arrest was made by the Punjab Police on Tuesday after a tip-off from the Intelligence Bureau. Singh, who was discharged from the Army in 2017, was found to be in possession of a large cache of weapons and ammunition.
